1.0.1 These guidelines are formulated to unify the technical requirements for the construction and management of safety facilities for port cargo cable cars, and to ensure the safe and reliable operation of port cargo cable cars. 1.0.2 These guidelines apply to the design, installation, and operational management of new, renovated, and expanded safety facilities for port cargo cable cars. 1.0.3 The design, installation, and operational management of safety facilities for port cargo cable cars shall comply with the provisions of these guidelines, as well as the applicable national standards currently in effect.
