Scope
This document establishes the procedure for measuring the average steady-state pressure in hydraulic drive circuits. This document is applicable to measuring the average steady-state pressure in closed circuits with an inner diameter greater than 3 mm, an average flow velocity less than 25 m/s, and an average steady-state static pressure less than 70 MPa. This document is not applicable to pressure sensors installed internally or integrated with the walls of closed fluid pipes. This document provides an estimation formula for the combined standard uncertainty of pressure measurement.
