Scope
This document describes the principles, instruments and equipment, samples, test procedures, and test reports of the surface roughness test method for carbon materials.
This document is suitable for evaluating the surface roughness of carbon material products with an aggregate size of less than 1.6 mm using the stylus profilometry method. The measurement parameters are generally selected as the arithmetic mean deviation of the profile (Ra), and other parameters such as the maximum height of the profile (Rz) can also be selected as needed. Other carbon materials can be used for reference.
