Scope

This document establishes the work procedures for the remediation of heavy metal-contaminated soils in agricultural production areas, specifies the feasibility assessment of remediation technologies, the selection of remediation agents, and the preparation and implementation of remediation plans. It also describes the evaluation of remediation effects, environmental monitoring plans, and sampling and analysis methods. This document is applicable to the remediation of soils in agricultural production areas contaminated by cadmium, arsenic, lead, chromium, copper, nickel, and zinc, which adversely affect crop growth or soil ecological environments. This document is not applicable to the remediation of soils in agricultural production areas contaminated by mercury.
