Scope

This standard specifies the redundant design and testing requirements for redundant power positioning systems on ships or offshore facilities.
This standard applies to the redundant design and testing of DP-2 and DP-3 power positioning systems on ships or offshore facilities (hereinafter referred to as "ships").
