Scope
This standard specifies the sample preparation, hydrogen charging, constant load tensile testing, slow strain rate tensile testing, post-rupture sample processing, hydrogen content measurement, and test reporting for evaluating hydrogen-induced delayed fracture of high-strength steel.
This standard applies to high-strength steel with a tensile strength of not less than 800 MPa. High-strength steel with a tensile strength of less than 800 MPa can be used as a reference for this standard.
