Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements and testing methods for baby walkers (hereinafter referred to as "walking belts") used by infants and toddlers to practice walking with the help of adults.
This standard applies to imported and exported baby walkers for infants and toddlers.
This standard does not apply to medical baby walkers and baby walking products that can move independently with the help of frames.
Baby walkers, if connected or equipped with toys or accessories for children to play with, should comply with the relevant standard requirements.
