Scope

This standard specifies the environmental conditions of the water bodies for the propagation and release of silver fish in inland waters of Jiangsu Province, the technical points of fertilized eggs and fish seed release (germplasm sources, quality requirements, counting, transportation, and release), propagation management, resource monitoring, fishing, and the evaluation of propagation benefits. This standard applies to the propagation and release of large silver fish (Protosalax hyalocranius) and Chen's short-snouted silver fish (Salangichthys tangkahkeii) in inland waters of Jiangsu Province.
