Scope
Main technical content: (1) This document specifies the requirements for the growing environment, land preparation and base fertilization, seedling cultivation, transplanting, greenhouse management, pest and disease control, harvesting, packaging and storage, product quality, waste disposal, and production records for summer-long cultivation of Hunan chili peppers in greenhouses. (2) The environmental conditions of the production area shall comply with the provisions of NY/T 391 *Green Food - Environmental Quality of Production Areas*, and requirements for land selection are also stipulated. (3) Based on the successful experience and practices of summer-long cultivation of Hunan chili peppers in greenhouses, this document sets out the cultivation management requirements for the entire process, including land preparation and base fertilization, cultivating strong seedlings (including variety selection, seedling cultivation methods, seed quality, sowing, seedling management, and strong seedling specifications), transplanting, greenhouse management (including temperature and humidity control, water and fertilizer management, and plant adjustment), pest and disease prevention and control, harvesting, and waste disposal. For example, the section on land preparation and base fertilization stipulates deep plowing and sunning of the soil, disinfection, fertilizer types and quantities, and the requirements for trenching and ridge construction. The section on cultivating strong seedlings specifies variety selection, seed quality requirements, seed treatment, appropriate sowing time and quantity, seedling cultivation methods, temperature, water, and fertilizer management during the seedling stage, and strong seedling standards. The section on transplanting stipulates transplanting time, density, and methods.
