Scope

In order to standardize the treatment and utilization of wastewater from iron ore mining and processing enterprises, ensure that the wastewater generated during the production process is effectively managed and recycled, and prevent secondary pollution, these regulations are formulated. These regulations specify the terms and definitions of wastewater treatment in iron ore mining and processing enterprises, the classification of iron ore mining and processing enterprise wastewater, general requirements, basic technologies for wastewater treatment and disposal in iron ore mining and processing enterprises, and safety and environmental protection requirements. These regulations apply to the treatment and utilization of wastewater from iron ore mining and processing enterprises, but not to the wastewater treatment and utilization technologies of other types of mines. The treatment and utilization technologies of wastewater from iron ore mining and processing enterprises shall comply with these regulations and the provisions of the current relevant national standards.
