Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking and packaging for dyed yarn products made from polyester (cotton-type short fibers) and cotton blends.
This standard applies to ring-spun dyed yarns made from polyester and cotton blends. It does not apply to ring-spun dyed yarns made from polyester and cotton blends for specific purposes.
