Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, and storage for anti-corrosion coatings for underwater production systems. This standard applies to anti-corrosion coatings used on carbon steel or stainless steel substrates of underwater production systems in marine engineering equipment, including underwater wellheads, seabed manifold terminals, and cross-connect pipes, production risers, etc., where the operating temperature does not exceed 50 °C.
