Scope

Scope: This document specifies the terminology and definitions of the general guidelines for packaging and labeling of beef from the Liupanshan area of Ningxia, packaging materials, unified labeling content, non-unified labeling content, labeling principles, and requirements for production records and document management. This document applies to chilled and frozen beef and its products from cattle raised and produced in the Liupanshan area of Ningxia, which are directly sold at the origin or through authorized distributors, supermarkets, specialty stores, and e-commerce platforms. Terms and definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document: 3.1 Ningxia Liupanshan beef refers to beef products raised and produced in the areas of Yuan County, Xiji County, Longde County, Jingyuan County, Pengyang County, and Haiyuan County in Ningxia. The geographical coordinates are 105°09′00″~106°58′00″E and 35°15′00″~37°04′00″N, with a total land area of 17,000 square kilometers, covering 80 townships in six counties (districts).
