GB/T 14108-2011 Marine magnetic compass of class A

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage for marine-grade A-class magnetic compasses, compass cabinets, and azimuth readers (referred to as magnetic compasses and accessories).
This standard applies to direct-reading reflective, projection, and transmission marine liquid magnetic compasses.
This standard does not apply to:
a) magnetic compasses with dry dials;
b) compasses designed according to principles different from those described above or compasses that do not comply with the specified specifications;
c) handheld magnetic compasses.
