Scope

This standard specifies the liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry method for the determination of enrofloxacin, difloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sarafloxacin, orbifloxacin, difluorooxacin, and marbofloxacin residues in milk and milk powder.
This standard is applicable to the determination and confirmation of the residue levels of enrofloxacin, difloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sarafloxacin, orbifloxacin, difluorooxacin, and marbofloxacin in milk and milk powder.
The method detection limits specified in this standard are: 1 μg/kg for enrofloxacin, difloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sarafloxacin, orbifloxacin, difluorooxacin, and marbofloxacin in milk; and 4 μg/kg for enrofloxacin, difloxacin, ciprofloxacin, sarafloxacin, orbifloxacin, difluorooxacin, and marbofloxacin in milk powder.
