Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the residues of 450 pesticides and related chemicals (see Appendix A and Appendix E) in puffer fish, eels, and shrimp.
This standard is applicable to the qualitative identification of 450 pesticides and related chemicals in puffer fish, eels, and shrimp, and also to the quantitative determination of 380 pesticides and related chemicals in these species.
The methodological detection limits for the quantitative determination of the 380 pesticides and related chemicals in this standard range from 0.02 μg/kg to 0.195 mg/kg (see Appendix A).
