Scope
This standard applies to the on-site electromagnetic compatibility testing of large-scale medical equipment or systems. Note 1: During the testing process, there is a possibility that the equipment being tested may be damaged or that other devices may be adversely affected. The testers should inform the users and manufacturers of the relevant risks, and the testing shall only proceed with the consent of both parties. Note 2: The evaluation results obtained under on-site environmental conditions are only valid for the actual measurements of each independent large-scale medical device or system in its specific installation location.
