GB/T 27614-2011 Guidelines for import and release of biological control agents and other beneficial organisms
Basic Information
Scope
This standard provides guidelines and references for risk management related to the introduction and release of biological control agents and other beneficial organisms. The standard outlines the responsibilities of competent authorities, introducers, and exporters. It discusses reproductive natural enemies (including parasitic natural enemies, predatory natural enemies, parasites, nematodes, natural enemies of weeds, and pathogens, fungi, bacteria, and viruses), as well as sterile insects and other beneficial organisms, including those packaged or formulated into commercial products. It also includes import regulations for studying non-native natural enemies and other beneficial organisms in quarantine facilities. The scope of this standard does not include living modified organisms, issues related to the registration of biological pesticides, or microbial preparations designed to control vertebrate pests.
