Scope

This standard specifies the noise control design procedures and steps for most open-plan factories. This standard applies to the following situations: — The technical requirements for noise control steps in new or existing factory renovation and expansion projects (the construction steps of noise control are not within the scope of this standard, but should be considered). — The stipulation of the responsibilities of all parties, namely the "end users", "project contractors", and "equipment suppliers". — On the basis of the overall noise requirements of the factory, it describes the general steps for individual equipment to meet the noise requirements. Appendix A provides a flowchart of the noise control process, and Appendix B provides a list of the items for implementing noise control. Note: For specific engineering methods related to factory acoustic design and analysis, please refer to other standards and books.
