Scope
This document provides guidelines for the protection principles of emergency rescue teams for sudden high-altitude disasters, pre-rescue preparations, protection during the journey to high altitudes, protection and safeguard during high-altitude rescue, and post-rescue recovery.
This document is applicable to the prevention of acute high-altitude sickness and injury protection for emergency rescue personnel who conduct disaster rescue from areas below 3,000 meters to high altitudes above 3,000 meters, the prevention of acute high-altitude reaction and injury protection for search and rescue dogs, and the protection of rescue equipment.
This document is not applicable to the diagnosis and treatment of acute severe high-altitude diseases such as high-altitude pulmonary edema and high-altitude cerebral edema in rescue personnel.
