This document describes a set of features of digital cameras (DSCs), as well as their definitions, testing methods, and representation methods. This document is applicable to digital cameras designed and produced for ordinary consumers, excluding those designed and produced to meet the special specifications agreed upon by individual enterprises or industrial users and manufacturers.
The representation methods specified in this document are intended to be used as identifiers on the camera body, packaging, at points of purchase and in advertising materials, in electronic or printed manuals and other materials, as well as in related software.
