Scope
This standard specifies the device description, security environment, security objectives, security requirements, and basic principles of EAL4 enhanced-level smart card readers and writers (hereinafter referred to as "devices"). The security function components in this standard will meet the general security function requirements of EAL4 enhanced-level devices, and the security protection components will meet the general security protection requirements of EAL4 enhanced-level devices. This standard is applicable to the testing and evaluation of contact-type smart card readers and writers, and can also be used to guide the research, development, and product procurement of devices.
