GB/T 27795-2011 Test method for corrosion testing of non-metallic gaskets
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for non-metallic gaskets (hereinafter referred to as gaskets) in corrosive environments under different temperatures and pressures. If the flanges are very flat (as allowed by the industry), the test unit can use enamel materials for testing other corrosive chemicals except hydrofluoric acid. The temperature range can be from low temperatures to 260℃, and the pressure range can be from full vacuum to the pressure that the test unit can withstand.
This standard is used to compare various types of gaskets under simulated practical operating conditions. These performance tests of the gaskets are carried out before they are put into the chemical process. The designed test unit provides the maximum range of corrosion resistance, so as to obtain meaningful results.
