Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the terms and definitions, general principles, configuration, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of oil-immersed intelligent power transformers. This guidance technical document is applicable to the design, manufacture, inspection, and selection of oil-immersed intelligent power transformers with a system nominal voltage of 66 kV to 750 kV (hereinafter referred to as "intelligent transformers"). The design, manufacture, inspection, and selection of other intelligent transformers can be carried out in accordance with this guidance technical document.
