Scope

This standard provides guidance on continuous improvement procedures and methods to support effective and efficient improvement of the performance of an organization's management system. It can be used by organizations with the following needs:
—— Identify problems in the products provided to customers and resolve them through consistent procedures;
—— Implement and manage breakthrough projects, including changing existing processes or introducing new processes that differ from daily operations and management;
