Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for five types of dense steel wire braided reinforced hoses and hose assemblies, with a nominal inner diameter ranging from 5 to 31.5 mm.
These hoses are suitable for
——Oil-based hydraulic fluids HH, HL, HM, HR, and HV defined in ISO 6743-4, with a temperature range of -40 ℃ to +100 ℃;
——Water-based hydraulic fluids HFC, HFAE, HFAS, and HFB defined in ISO 6743-4, with a temperature range of 0 ℃ to +60 ℃;
——Water, with a temperature range of 0 ℃ to +60 ℃.
This standard does not include requirements for hose connectors and is limited to the requirements for hoses and hose assemblies.
Note: It is the user's responsibility to consult with the hose manufacturer to determine the compatibility of the hose with the fluid used.
