LY/T 1667-2006 Machinery for forestry—Operator protective structures—Laboratory tests and performance requirements
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the experimental testing methods and performance requirements for the operator protection structure (OPS) of forestry machinery. This standard applies to mobile forestry machinery defined in GB/T 19365 engaged in logging, pruning, felling, gathering and hauling operations. The design of the OPS provides operators with reasonable protection, avoiding injuries from penetrations such as young trees, branches, and broken winch steel ropes during forestry production, but does not include small flying objects such as chain teeth. The performance standards of the OPS do not stipulate comprehensive safety protection for operators in all possible environments, but should minimize the possibility of operators being injured under normal operating conditions as much as possible.
