Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements for the dual RT-PCR detection method of porcine transmissible gastroenteritis virus (TGEV) and porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV). This standard is applicable to the detection of TGEV and/or PEDV nucleic acids in pig intestinal contents, feces, and cell cultures.
