Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, and rainproof markings for rainproof garments used to block precipitation (such as rainwater and snowflakes), fog, and ground moisture.
This standard does not include requirements for the rain-resistance and spray-resistance performance of ready-made garments.
This standard applies to rainproof garments made primarily from woven textile fabrics.
