Scope
This standard specifies the message structure and tag definitions used for the exchange of arrival notification data between relevant parties during transportation, based on XML format (e.g., ships, cars, etc.), as well as the structure of XML Schema. This standard applies to the electronic data exchange of arrival notification information related to road and waterway transportation. It is sent by the carrier or agent of the transportation vehicle to the next port of call or loading/unloading party, as well as relevant scheduling and regulatory authorities, providing information on the expected or actual arrival of the transportation vehicle and the expected loading/unloading of goods. It can also be applied to rail and air transport as a reference.
