Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the small amount of stable anionic surfactants in detergents after the hydrolysis of anionic surfactants under conditions of excessive acid reflux.
This standard is applicable to the determination of a small amount of sulfonates in alkylphenol ethoxylate sulfates, fatty alcohol ethoxylate sulfates, and sulfonated fatty alcohols.
