This document specifies the technical requirements and design and installation requirements for various flexible pipe components and non-metallic pipe fittings used in refrigeration systems and heat pump refrigerant circuits.
This document does not apply to flexible pipes that exceed their elastic limit due to occasional stress (such as during maintenance work), nor does it apply to freely rotating joints and hinge joints.
