Scope

The safety assessment is applicable to metal industrial pipelines that meet the following conditions simultaneously: a) Unsupervised inspection; b) A maximum working pressure of 0.1 MPa (gauge pressure) or higher, with the medium being gas, liquefied gas, steam, or flammable, explosive, toxic, or corrosive liquids with a maximum working temperature of or higher than the standard boiling point; c) A nominal diameter of 50 mm or greater; except for pipelines and equipment bodies used to transport non-toxic, non-flammable, and non-corrosive gases, where the nominal diameter is less than 150 mm and the maximum working pressure is less than 1.6 MPa (gauge pressure).
