Scope

This standard specifies the test methods for the flexural strength, compressive strength, water absorption, shrinkage, abrasion resistance, lateral deformation, and chemical corrosion resistance of grout for ceramic tiles (hereinafter referred to as grout).
This standard is applicable to the performance testing of grout used for sealing the joints between ceramic tiles.
