Scope
This standard specifies the environmental conditions, technical requirements, production and assembly requirements, nameplates of wind turbine generators, inspection rules, test methods, packaging, transportation, storage, accompanying documents, and delivery for direct-drive wind turbine generators with electric excitation. This standard applies to horizontal-axis electric excitation direct-drive wind turbine generators (hereinafter referred to as "wind turbine generators") with a swept area of more than 200 m2. The electric excitation part of hybrid excitation wind turbine generators, including electric excitation technology, can refer to this standard for implementation.
