Scope
This standard specifies the classification and marking, general requirements, specifications, inspection methods, inspection rules, marking, transportation, storage, and factory certification documents, as well as installation precautions for fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite septic tanks (commonly known as FRP septic tanks).
This standard applies to three-compartment septic tanks made of fiber-reinforced thermosetting composites with an effective volume of 1.5 m3 to 4.0 m3 and a soil cover depth of no more than 2,000 mm, manufactured using either the winding or molding process (hereinafter referred to as "septic tanks"). Septic tanks for household toilets with a soil cover depth exceeding 2,000 mm can be referenced for implementation.
