Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the normative reference documents, terms and definitions, accounting processes, baseline identification, accounting methods, monitoring and data quality requirements for greenhouse gas emission reduction projects in dryland farmlands through optimized fertilization techniques. This standard applies to the accounting of greenhouse gas emissions reduction resulting from the implementation of optimized fertilization technologies in dryland farmlands. It is primarily applicable to dryland farmlands, with a baseline scenario of local farmers' conventional fertilization management measures; the project activities must be implemented for at least 5 years, with 5 years of crop yield and fertilizer application records; and the implementation of the project activities must not lead to a decrease in yield (within 5% of the baseline level).
