Scope
This standard specifies a method for determining the fiber content in a mixture of chitosan fibers and other fibers after removing non-fiber substances by the acetic acid method. This standard is applicable to mixtures of chitosan fibers and cellulose fibers (cotton, flax, ramie, hemp, viscose fibers, modal fibers, lyocell fibers), protein fibers (wool, cashmere, silk) or synthetic fibers (polyester fibers, polyamide fibers, polyacrylonitrile fibers); other similar fibers not specified in this standard can be implemented with reference to it.
