Scope
This procedure applies to newly manufactured, in-use, and repaired resistance-type DC high-resistance bridges (hereinafter referred to as bridges), with a resistance measurement range of up to or greater than 106 Ω, and a grade index of 001 to 10. The verification of the bridges is covered by this procedure.
This procedure does not apply to the verification of automatic or semi-automatic high-resistance bridges, current comparison bridges, and high-resistance meters and insulation resistance measuring instruments made using non-bridge principles.
