Scope
This document specifies the methodological principles, instruments, reagents and consumables, as well as the testing and result evaluation procedures for acute eye irritation tests of chemicals.
This document is applicable to the in vitro detection of acute eye irritation of chemicals. The chemicals should be soluble in water, and the pH of the test solution should be within the range of 6.5 to 7.8.
