Scope

This standard specifies the minimum structural dimensions requirements for large yacht lifting machinery. This standard applies to cranes, boarding ladders (including gangways) and boarding ladders used as lifting machinery. This standard does not apply to rescue equipment lifting facilities, which refer to other recognized rules and/or international norms. The content of this standard mainly involves working levels, additional loads, design standards, permissible stress, strength verification, elastic stability testing, and connection fittings, etc.
