Scope
This standard provides: — Two grading methods (one based on calculated risk, the other based on risk assessment), which can be used to determine the corresponding conformity assessment systems for products, processes, and services; — A set of five conformity assessment systems, from which the most suitable one can be selected when products, processes, and services require conformity assessment. Note: Other grading models can also be used, but the results must be consistent with the conformity assessment systems used.
