Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for desiccants used to dry refrigerants. The test principle adopted is to keep the desiccant with a known water content in contact with the measured refrigerant under certain temperature conditions, and after reaching equilibrium, measure the water content of the refrigerant.
This standard is applicable to the test methods for testing desiccants. For the testing and evaluation of dryers using desiccants, see GB/T 23684—2009.
