Scope

This standard specifies the types, specifications, structural dimensions, functional performance, test methods, and markings of gas-liquid quick-change connectors for scientific experiment cabinets on the space station of the manned space program. This standard applies to quick-change connectors used in scientific experiment cabinets or payloads of spacecraft such as the space station, manned spacecraft, and cargo spacecraft. Quick-change connectors for gases or liquids in other space application missions may also refer to this standard for use. Note: In this standard, when it does not cause ambiguity, the scientific experiment cabinet is referred to as the experiment cabinet.
