Scope

This standard specifies the test method for detecting the defects and striation of raw silk using capacitive and photoelectric electronic detectors. This standard is applicable to twisted and coiled raw silk, as well as soaked silk, with a nominal fineness of 13.3 dtex to 76.7 dtex (12 den to 69 den).
