Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, requirements, testing methods, inspection classification rules, and technical characteristics such as labeling, packaging, transportation, and storage for nano-technology-treated clothing products.
This standard applies to functional clothing made primarily from woven textiles that have been treated with nano-technology. These garments, or specific parts of them, gain one or more functions such as waterproofing, oil repellency, easy stain removal, antibacterial properties, and UV protection during the production process.
