Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, statistical scope, calculation methods, and energy-saving management and measures for the energy consumption limits of major production systems of pulp, machine-made paper, and paperboard.
This standard applies to the calculation and assessment of energy consumption of major production systems of pulp, machine-made paper, and paperboard using plant fibers as the main raw materials, as well as to the energy consumption control of new and modified/expanded enterprises (installations). This standard applies to the pulp and paper products listed in Appendix A.
