Scope
Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the construction of a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) ecological agriculture planting industrial park, including the construction conditions of the industrial park, the industrial system, technical requirements for input materials, management procedures, fertilization, irrigation, feeding, pest and disease control, and operational archives. This document is applicable to the construction of TCM ecological agriculture industrial parks. Main technical content: Applying TCM principles and methods to the agricultural field, using Chinese herbal medicines, natural mineral nutrients, microorganisms, and the mutual promotion and restraint mechanisms between Chinese herbal medicines and other biological communities to optimize, protect, and regulate plant and animal growth, reducing or eliminating the use of chemically synthesized pesticides, fertilizers, veterinary drugs, and chemical feed additives. The agricultural products produced should meet the standards of health, environmental protection, and organic green farming, achieving harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, ecological balance, and sustainable development. 3.2 TCM ecological agriculture industrial parks do not use chemically synthesized fertilizers, feed, pesticides, veterinary drugs, growth regulators, and herbicides during the production of agricultural products. They do not adopt genetic engineering technologies and their products, and are legally certified regions according to relevant standards. 3.3 Plant-based pesticides utilize stable active ingredients contained in plants. After being applied to the recipient plants according to certain methods, they protect the plants from or alleviate the damage caused by harmful organisms such as pests and weeds.
