Scope

This standard specifies the methods and procedures for the phased inspection and completion inspection of lightning protection devices in new buildings (structures) classified as Category I, Category II, Category III, and other buildings (structures) equipped with lightning protection devices in accordance with GB 50057-2010 "Code for Lightning Protection Design of Buildings". This standard applies to the phased inspection of hidden works of lightning protection devices in new, renovated, and expanded buildings and the overall completion inspection of these buildings. This standard does not apply to the regular inspection of lightning protection devices in existing buildings, as well as the regular inspection and completion inspection of outdoor lightning protection devices such as antenna towers, oil tanks, and chemical plants.
