Scope
This document describes the method for conducting constant humidity and heat tests on sintered neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets.
Note: According to the steam pressure in the test box during the test, the constant humidity and heat tests on sintered neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets are divided into ordinary constant humidity and heat tests and high-pressure steam constant humidity and heat tests. Among them, high-pressure steam constant humidity and heat tests are further divided into HAST tests and PCT tests.
This document is applicable to constant humidity and heat tests on sintered neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets with coatings, including metal protective layers, coatings, conversion film layers, and composite protective layers; it is also applicable to constant humidity and heat tests on sintered neodymium-iron-boron permanent magnets in an open-circuit state before measuring the irreversible loss of magnetic flux.
